Here is my June ipsy bag.

The theme this month is 'Swim into beauty'.

The bag.

The front is embossed with 'ipsy' and the back is just plain black.

A lot of people thought maybe the bag would be waterproof from the spoiler image.

I don't think it is.

I thought I got a really good bag this month.

The 3 face masks alone is awesome!

BioRepublic face mask trio - cucumber, aloe, green tea

This was my favorite item in the bag.

I love face masks and I received three!

Tried the cucumber breeze last night and it was awesome.

This is a an all natural brand.

I haven't opened it since I have so many opened lotions right now but I'm excited to try it out.

I'm not a big primer person.

In fact, I rarely use any because I don't like to wear foundation and cover-up.

I use brown a lot and crayon shadows are great for on the go so I'll throw this into my travel make-up bag.

The values are always high and I have fun experimenting with their products.

This month was a pretty good bag--maybe one of my favorites!

ipsy June 2015 Glam Room reveal ♥

Today we had the option to reveal our ipsy glam rooms.

Of course I want to see!

But first, this month's theme is 'Swim into beauty'.

I posted the bag design the other day and I'm still curious whether it's waterproof or not.

The teaser photo suggests that it is.

Interesting!

So at first glance I noticed that I'm not getting the Too Faced Melted lipstick.

I'm so sad....I really wanted it!

Instead, I got the smashbox primer which I probably won't really use. 

aaah well...

I will be sampling all 3 sheet masks!  How cool is that? It almost counts as 3 full items.

Also, the mini shadow crayon will have 4 different shades.  I hope I get the Marimoto Pink Pearl.  I'd prefer a color over another neutral/nude shadow.

Valentine's ♥

I received this J.cat Wonder Lip Paint in my ipsy bag back in November but was too intimidated to try it out.  Well, I thought it was the perfect color for Valentine's so I gave it a try and I like it♥

The color wasn't as bold as I thought it would be.

You definitely need a lip brush to apply this though.

And my hubby ♥ got me a surprise Sephora gift card loaded with a generous amount.

Squeee!! Thank you! 

Looks like I might have a Sephora order coming up soon.

Or I might sit on it for a while--Wait for something really good!

ipsy glam bag contents for November 2014 ♥

Yay my first beauty subscription is here--IPSY came first!

every month they have a theme and you also get a cute make-up pouch every month.

this month's theme is "girl meets glitter".

the pouch is pretty cute.

I was expecting some glittery items in the bag but the pouch was it.

no glittery nail polish or eye shimmer...o well!

(Remember, ipsy is $10/month.  If the value exceeds $10, then it's a good bag!)

Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume Shine Hairspray

This is a travel size.

I personally don't use hairspray..not since the 90's!

This also sounds like a volumizer, which I don't ever need.

I have so much hair, volumizing is the last thing I would do to my hair...

But seriously, who uses hairspray anymore?

I'll still try it out--it smells pretty nice.

Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil

ooo This is a full size! AND they accidentally sent me 2!

I got the color ultra olive.  It's kind of a grayish green color and it has glittery effects to it.

so it turns out I DID get a glittery item♥

It can be used as an eye liner OR eye shadow as well.

I did a swatch and it's creamy and smooth.  Fragile though --I broke of a tiny bit of the tip.

Wow, this retails for $17?? well there ya go...this paid for my bag this month.

J.Cat Beauty Wonder Lip Paint

ooo that's a bright color.  I'm excited to try this but I've never tried a lip paint before.

I think I need to get a lip brush to apply it.  I saw some youtube tutorials.

Oooo enhanced with minerals from the sea!

**ooo FYI, I found out there's a warning on this product. If you're pregnant or nursing, don't use.  That's kind of alarming...I wonder why? Hmmm.. Not too excited now.  Even if you aren't pregnant it makes you wonder what's in it that can be potentially harmful.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye

So ipsy shows you sneak peeks every month of what you MIGHT get in your bag.

I was hoping for this one and I got it!

An under eye concealer with anti-aging properties. Excited to try it!

This is labeled as a travel size.  Pretty small but a little goes a long way!

The color I got is neutral medium.  Did a swatch and it looks about right for my skin color.

So there it is! My contents of my first ipsy bag and I'm happy.

The value is definitely there.

I'm very pleased and look forward to using these products and hopefully I find something new I like.
