My parents traveled to San Diego for their 33rd wedding anniversary.

My mother bought me a few gifts which included a couple beauty items so I wanted to share!

Pure Smile Essence Mask in Honey apple & Royal jelly

She got these at the Japanese beauty shop in San Diego.

She knows how much I love these face masks!

At first I thought it was the kind you apply to your face, let dry then peel off.

But upon closer reading, it's an actual mask you put on your face for 20 minutes, then take off.

Awesome ♥  I've been hoping for one of the 'when traveling masks' thru Birchbox but I never got one in my box. (Hopefully they're still in rotation).  So this fulfills my mask void.

Ceramic Jewelry Bowl

This looks handcrafted and painted.  Very cute!

My current jewelry bowl is super tiny and overflowing so I can now transfer a few things into this one.

Handmade Bracelet

I love these colors and wow, I haven't worn a bracelet like this since 'friendship bracelets' back in Junior High.  This is very cute!

This is the cutest polish ever.  The packaging and the color.

I'm not sure what the color is but it's so cute--like a nude pink that feels so organic.

It's made without harsh chemicals using vegan formulas.

Christmas goodies... ♥

Here are some beauty goodies I received for Christmas.

This is 日本酒の化粧水 (Nihon-zake no keshousui).

Quite literally translates to Japanese Sake skin care lotion.

Apparently there are ingredients in sake that are amazing for your skin.

This is not a thick, creamy lotion but a 'liquid' lotion.

Can be used on your face and body.  There is hardly a scent.

I've used it a couple days so far and I like it.  

Tangle Teezer hairbrush.

Popular these day.  I was actually in need of a new brush so this is perfect!

Used it this morning and I absolutely love it♥

So easy to use and really helps to de-tangle gently so I don't have as many pulled hairs.

 This is now my go-to brush!

This was a bonus item my mom threw in for me.

I have a huge love for owls so I'm assuming that's why she picked this up for me.

Comes in a cute felt pouch and a shower gel + lotion.

It's a generic brand so nothing crazy.

The scent is 'strawberry sugar' and it totally smells like it.
