This is weird!  Why did my birchbox come in a BIGGER box this month?

I totally forgot that I entered in a benefit x Birchbox giveaway.

Apparently I won!  So the extra packaging led to a bigger box.

This was a nice surprise!

It's a new gel eyeliner that you click by turning the bottom of the applicator, kind of like a chapstick.

You can get very precise, thin lines from this.

Also, it's made in Japan!

Oooo I will be trying this out tomorrow night.  I need to de-puff my eyes so bad.

This is Birchbox's most popular beauty item.

It's a detangler that also protects your hair from heat, smooths hair, adds shine, conditions, etc.

It really is an all purpose product and it smells divine!

Marcelle BB Cream - *golden glow*

I also received this in 'the Tig box'.

The shade is a tad bit dark for me but I think that's the point.

It's supposed to add a glow to your skin...like a bronzer I suppose.

COOLA SPF 39 Cucumber moisturizer

This is a sunscreen that people seem to love.

I guess unlike a typical sunscreen, COOLA has different "flavors".

I got the cucumber.  The mango was up for sample choice.

This summer has been crazy hot so I suspect I will be going through a lot of sunscreen.

I will use this after my Supergoop!

So we were supposed to receive a full size eyeko eyeliner this month but they are held up in customs.

Birchbox reassured us that we will get it in a future box.

This month, it's the Tig Guest Editor Box,  "Ready, Set, Summer Box".

ALSO, did you notice the "New Option" BB is offering?

It looks like you can now purchase the Guest Editor Box for an extra $10 if you want both the 'regular' and 'guest' box.  This means I won't need multiple accounts anymore!  This is the first month they are rolling this out and who knows if it will become a regular option or not.

I'm going to see what if they offer it again next month-- then I'll cancel my multiple accounts.

Not super excited about this curated box. I've tried the Real Chemistry Peel and I didn't care for it.  Everyone will receive the Fat Eyeliner in their 'regular' box so I'm surprised to see it also featured in the Guest Editor Box.  Otherwise, I love the "Hello" series by Harvey Prince and I've been wanting to try any of the Davines products.

What are you picking this month? Or will you not pick and keep it a surprise?

I'm debating between the Microwater and Eye Gel and the Tig Box.

BIRCHBOX #2 contents for February 2015 ♥

This month my (2) boxes shipped a few days apart but I ended up receiving them together on the same day!

So happy to have this! I just ran out of my other make-up remover sample by Clinique, which by the way worked great! But I wanted to try this one to see if it works even better before I purchase a full size of the Clinique remover.

COOLA Face SPF 30 Unscented Matte Tint

I was confused at first because it sounded like a sunscreen lotion.

Then the description said it was tinted...and now I see on the bottle that this is a BB Cream.

Oh! ok, so it's a BB cream with SPF 30...

anyways, yay!  My past BB creams are all so tiny in size, I was just running out.

I hope the shade compliments my skin tone.

Perfume sample.

At first when I started beauty subscriptions, I wasn't all too excited about getting perfume samples.

But y'know what?  I kind of like getting them now.

I have quite the collection-- I have 8 samples right now and I like alternating between them.

I discovered a new favorite too!

As for this one, it smells girly but a very fresh/clean scent.

Does that make sense? like just-outta-the-shower-freshness scent.

eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner - color*black*

Another eyeliner...!

But this one is new for me.  It's a liquid eyeliner in a pen-form.

Super easy to apply and it's very juicy.

So far it seems to be long lasting.

I read online it's best to store this eyeliner vertically with the tip pointing down.

Overall, I'm happy and satisfied.

But there were better boxes out there.

This month they had a total of 61 box variations.

Some people got to sample the new benefit curling mascara and some even got a beauty blender!

Box envy for sure...but I may get one in a future box.

I gifted this to my sister for Christmas.

I've seen Argan Oil everythwere!  Hair products mainly but this one is for skin care.

This is the cutest polish ever.  The packaging and the color.

I'm not sure what the color is but it's so cute--like a nude pink that feels so organic.

It's made without harsh chemicals using vegan formulas.
