I was very underwhelmed with my box this month...

Temple Spa La La Lagoon bath & shower gel

Meh...Templespa is apparently well known to be a 'hotel' toiletry.

In other words, these are inexpensive and hotel quality.

Not too excited but I'll use it of course.

This smells nice and I love anything hair serum and oils.

I love theBalm!  And even though I don't use blush at all...I love the packaging and will add this to my theBalm collection of samples!

LOC Matte Lipstick - Glam Life

This is a new Birchbox line of cosmetics.

The first collection was in collaboration with Tati, a well-known beauty vlogger.

I went with the 'Glam Life' shade because it looked like a dark purple but it actually applied very bright and a lot lighter than I thought.

It's also very drying...not sure I like it too much.

Colourpop is still my go-to lippie product.

I've already received this sample in a different account and I don't care for it.

Perfume samples are...not that exciting.

 I was really underwhelmed this month...after months of awesome boxes, a bad one is sure to come around.  Hoping for a better box next month!

BIRCHBOX #1 ::Birchbox + Rifle Paper Co.:: Contents for April 2015 ♥

Squeee♥ My April Birchbox was delivered today!

I typically use one account to reserve the Guest Editor box and the other account for the monthly surprise box.  This is for my surprise box.

This month, BB collaborated with Rifle Paper Co.

They design beautiful stationery products and the BB box design did not disappoint.

The box is so gorgeous, it will never be thrown away!

I must say, the spoilers online didn't get me too excited but once I started to play with these, I'm very happy with my box!

TEMPLESPA Peace Be Still Calming Face & Body Balm

This works so great as a moisturizing.  The texture and consistency is perfect!

However, the scent caught me off guard at first...

When I first applied it, it smelled a bit funny.  But afterwards, my hands smelled amazing!

Very weird...something must have 'activated' after I used it on my hands.

This is a blend of essentials oils including 'lemon, nutmeg, orange & lavender'.

I have been getting a lot of lavender products lately and they are SO calming.

Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream SPF35 - *Light Medium*

This is a repeat product for me. (BB does NOT send repeats but I received this on my other account)

I've used up my older sample.  This is a great CC cream.  

Great coverage, very  light and it's got SPF in it.

The sample is small but a little goes a long way

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-minute Peel

I'm very curious about this one.

It's named as a 'peel' but you don't actually peel this off like a mask.

It is applied to your face, massaged and rinsed off.

I've heard great things and I'm excited to try this.

I love exfoliating my face.

jane iredale Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain - *forever pink*

This is interesting.  This is a self adjusting lip & cheek stain.

At first when I swatched this, nothing appeared on my arm.

Then a minute later I started to see a subtle color appear.

It's a very soft pink and I think it would look good as a cheek stain.

Harvey Prince Yogini Perfume

I've come to love Harvey Prince.  

I've tried their shower gel, body lotion and perfumes.

I enjoy the scents very much.  Yogini has a very calming effect on me.

This box was fun for me.  The peel and lip stain were totally new products for me.

The scents of the lotion and perfume turned out to be to my liking so that is good!

The total value of this month's box (roughly) comes to $19.64

The value was not as high as other months but I couldn't get an exact value for the lip stain.

Still, this was a generous calculation.  I hope my 2nd box (MAD MEN box) is a good one!

I can't wait to get it--should arrive sometime next week.
