And so bold!  This lip stain lasts all day, seriously.

It's very difficult to get off actually.

Perfume samples don't get me too excited but this one is by Cartier.

Super fancy--in fact I would never purchase a full size so it was nice to get a sample.

This smells great too.

BIRCHBOX #1 ::Beachy & Bright Box:: Unboxing for July 2015 ♥

The featured box this month was the 'Beachy & Bright Box'.

The box is decked out in palm trees and it's a bright yellow/green.

The featured box came with the stila liquid lipstick in the shade 'bella'.

This month's sample choice was choosing the shade we wanted.

One of the reasons I opted for the featured box is because it came with 'bella', my first choice.

A facial scrub!

Although I found my favorite (suki face scrub) I still love to try new face scrubs.

Stila liquid lipstick in 'bella'

Holy cow this is bright!!

I'm wearing it right now and I can't even feel it on my lips.  That's a good thing.

And it really is a lip stain--this thing lasts and it's quite hard to get off actually.

Really like the formula though.  I should see if they offer more subtle shades.

Not into bronzer...but I think I can use this as an eyeshadow too!

Klorane is a great hair care brand.

I love their dry shampoo.

I'm currently using a different shampoo by Klorane.

I'm excited to try this mango version.

I love the shades but I found them to be weak on pigmentation.

This was my sample choice.

It can be used as a make-up remover, toner, etc.

I tried this as a remover and it works great.

I have a travel size of this and I'm glad to have more.

This sunscreen is really good--isn't sticky and doesn't leave a white mess.

ALSO, did you notice the "New Option" BB is offering?

It looks like you can now purchase the Guest Editor Box for an extra $10 if you want both the 'regular' and 'guest' box.  This means I won't need multiple accounts anymore!  This is the first month they are rolling this out and who knows if it will become a regular option or not.

I'm going to see what if they offer it again next month-- then I'll cancel my multiple accounts.

I've tried the Real Chemistry Peel and I didn't care for it.  Everyone will receive the Fat Eyeliner in their 'regular' box so I'm surprised to see it also featured in the Guest Editor Box.  Otherwise, I love the "Hello" series by Harvey Prince and I've been wanting to try any of the Davines products.

What are you picking this month? Or will you not pick and keep it a surprise?

Miss Jessie's Super Sweetback Hair Treatment Mask

Miss Jessie's is a brand (I think) specifically for curly  hair.

This is my second product by Miss Jessie's and I wonder why I keep getting these curly hair products.

I don't have curly hair.

But upon reading reviews on this, people love it and they say it makes your hair glossy, healthy, shiny, etc.  It doesn't mention anything specific about curly hair so I will give this a try.

Waaah! This screams summer!

Knockaround Premium Sunglasses + case

Sunglasses are a hit or miss for me.

I have a hard time finding one that fits my face perfectly, particularly the nose bridge.

I have a very small nose bridge so a lot of them tend to fall down and not stay put.

These ones are ok.  I can wear them a bit low on my nose otherwise they get too close to my 'face' that my eyelashes will brush against the lens everytime I blink.

Ugh...Asian problems I guess.

Yay!!!

There were 2 variations for this.  You either got the sailor stripes or the elephant.

Lucky me, I got the Elephant which was the one I wanted.

This tote is very big!  I had K sit next to it for scale.

It can hold up to 50lbs or 3 full grocery bags.

Wow guys, EVERY item was a Full Size Item (except for the sunscreen which was a Travel Size).

This is the best box yet. (Along with the BabyGap box)

The total value of this box (roughly) comes to $142.27.

With the free samples I received the total comes to $147.53.

I used a coupon code and some points and ultimately paid $27.78.

I love that the box included many NON-beauty items like jewelry, accessories and even candy!

I loved the variation and felt that this was perfectly curated for a 'summer' box.
