Whole Foods Market ::First-ever Curated Beauty Bag:: ♥

So I found out about this just last night!

Today, March 21 @ 10 am, Whole Foods Market will be releasing their first beauty bag as part of their week-long 'Beauty Week'.  From what I understand, this is only for US stores.

Beauty week is March 18-24.

The Beauty Bag will include the above items (You'll get either the Pacifica eyeshadow or Lippie).

A value of $60 for only $18 ♥ Limited supply.

I headed down to my local WF and arrived about 15 minutes beforehand.

Grabbed myself some coffee and waited.

I was the first one to grab a bag. yay!

I also received a sample pack of other beauty products.

I saw about 15 bags displayed. They will most likely sell out.

The beauty bag comes in a Riji Green bag, 100% organic cotton.

A company 'dedicated to ending human trafficking'.

The bags were all the same but had different colored tassles and the inner linings are different.

I chose the purple/turquoise/orange tassle.  They were all so cute!

ACURE cell stimulating facial mask

I got the brightening scrub in my Target Naturals beauty box.

This is a facial mask version of it.  I enjoyed the scrub so I'm sure I will enjoy the mask just as much.

This stuff is all green.  I love the directions on this:

"Apply evenly over the face until you look like a green sea-monster"

This is an everyday mositurizer.

All natural, of course.

I've never heard of this brand but it must be high end.  Quite expensive.

I'm bummed I didn't get a conditioner along with it but I will still use this.

Now I know where the smell comes from--my beauty bag had this coconut smell and it's from this shampoo.  Smells great!

derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub

I'm a fan of derma e.  I am currently using 2 other face products.

I sampled a little bit of this and it reminds me of the Vasanti scrub.

Super tiny sand-like scrubs.

Gabriel Cosmetics Mascara - *Black*

Always happy to have mascara.

I'm not opening this since I'm using 2 right now.  This will go in my pile.

I love this one too!  I've been enjoying my Pacifica eyeshadow and I like their lippie even more!

Application is really nice and moisturizing.

I really hope they start releasing beauty bags regularly--perhaps every season?

This is an online shop that I learned through watching beauty vloggers.

They are based in LA and their products are cruelty free, made in US and frequently collaborate with beauty vloggers.

So, I purchased a lip pencil and a lip stix.

I have a favorite youtube beauty vlogger and this is her collaboration with Colourpop.

When I found out she had collaborated and created her own 'shade', I immediately checked it out and purchased both the pencil and stix.

A thank you card with a handwritten not on the back.

And a couple cards with product descriptions and 'how to' tips & tricks.

ColourPop Lippie Stix - *Lumiere*

I love this color!! It looks a little different in the photos but it's a pink shade with purple undertones and I love it.  I'm wearing it now and I think it looks great.

It's a matte finish.

I used both the pencil to outline my lips and the stix to fill it in.

The application is also very nice--creamy, soft and highly pigmented.

Very happy with this purchase!

I believe she is also coming out with a new eyeshadow quad sometime next month so I'll be on the lookout for that.  I also want to mention that their other products in general look amazing.

The colors are so pretty--it's fun to just browse.

I want to say a majority of the products are eyeshadow/pigments.

But they also carry lip products.

It's indeed a very fun & cute site.

BB5 didn't release any sneak peeks this month (at least that I know of) so this was a complete surprise box.

I'm glad they are starting to get better.

For a while, the boxes were not so great.

This looks like a starter kit/sample pack sort of thing.

I've never heard of this brand.  Did some research to find out they are a very high end brand..at least judging by the prices.  Here is what I received:

Number 4 Clarifying Shampoo

First thing is first...that adorable elephant! Squee♥

I received a Number 4 shampoo in the past and I thought maybe BB made a mistake and sent me a dupe...But upon closer inspection, this is a new shampoo.  My previous Number 4 was a 'Hydrating' shampoo.  This one is a 'Clarifying' shampoo.  

They smell different too.  The last shampoo I tried, I didn't enjoy the scent too much.  It was a bit masculine.  But this one smells very nice. Yay!

WEI Manuka Bee Venom Anti-Wrinkle Mask

Wow..this is intimidating...

It even came with a Caution to consult your Doctor if you have bee allergies.

So I'm guessing there's actual bee venom in here.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint - shade *Pearl*

Wow, this might be the closest to my shade I've ever seen in a tinted moisturizer!

I love my Laura Mercier but it's a bit dark for me...

The Supergoop! CC cream makes me look kind of pink...weird.  

And the Dr. Jart rubs in kind of gray. 

But THIS one is really close.  Crossing my fingers!

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss - shade *Cheeky Kiss*

This works as both a Lip & Cheek stain.

It looked pretty red at first glance but it swatched more of a pink/coral shade.

It blends very well (for the cheeks) but it wasn't very long lasting on the lips.

I had to reapply throughout the day.

Nice color though!

So in conclusion, this was a very good box!

I'm really curious about that bee venom mask.  It has me intrigued.
