Number 4 Clarifying Shampoo

First thing is first...that adorable elephant! Squee♥

I received a Number 4 shampoo in the past and I thought maybe BB made a mistake and sent me a dupe...But upon closer inspection, this is a new shampoo.  My previous Number 4 was a 'Hydrating' shampoo.  This one is a 'Clarifying' shampoo.  

They smell different too.  The last shampoo I tried, I didn't enjoy the scent too much.  It was a bit masculine.  But this one smells very nice. Yay!

This was included as a *Bonus Item*.

I'm glad they didn't count this as one of the 5 products we get.

(I think a shampoo/conditioner set should count as 1 item anyway)

Beauty Protector - Protector & Oil

I received this item on my other account and I love this!

In fact, I've been saving my last sample because I didn't want to run out.

Smells so good and does amazing things to my hair.

This was also one of the sample choices this month.

I didn't choose anything and wanted a complete surprise but I received it anyway.

WEI Manuka Bee Venom Anti-Wrinkle Mask

Wow..this is intimidating...

It even came with a Caution to consult your Doctor if you have bee allergies.

So I'm guessing there's actual bee venom in here.

I may wait to try this one.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint - shade *Pearl*

Wow, this might be the closest to my shade I've ever seen in a tinted moisturizer!

I love my Laura Mercier but it's a bit dark for me...

The Supergoop! CC cream makes me look kind of pink...weird.  

And the Dr. Jart rubs in kind of gray. 

But THIS one is really close.  Crossing my fingers!

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss - shade *Cheeky Kiss*

This works as both a Lip & Cheek stain.

It looked pretty red at first glance but it swatched more of a pink/coral shade.

It blends very well (for the cheeks) but it wasn't very long lasting on the lips.

I had to reapply throughout the day.

Nice color though!

So in conclusion, this was a very good box!

A total of 6 products which means I can earn 60 pts from reviews this month.

I'm really curious about that bee venom mask.  It has me intrigued.

BirchBox #2 contents for December 2014 ♥

Yes, I now have 2 Birchbox accounts ^_^

Only because I was gifted a visa gift card from my hubby.

I used the card for several other purchases but decided to open a second account.

Once the gift card runs out I'll probably go back to just 1 account, FYI.

The benefit of having 2 accounts is getting varied boxes each month.

And Birchbox is my favorite sub right now, so why not?

I made sure the profiles for each account were slightly different so I will get different items.

Also, this way I could get myself a monthly box AND a guest editor box each month.

Unfortunately for the upcoming January box, I missed out on the guest editor box.

You can read about that 'fail' over here.

Also, going forward, I'll be referring the boxes to birchbox #1 and birchbox #2.

Really loving the products in my birchbox #2 !!

Looks like I didn't get any duplicates between my 2 boxes.

Vasanti Cosmetics BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

A face scrub with super tiny micro beads.

And I mean super tiny!  I've never tried a face wash with this kind of texture.

There's no need to scrub hard because the micro beads do their job quite well.

I enjoyed this product!

Mirenesse iCurl secret weapon 24hr Mascara - color *black*

Oooo I love receiving mascaras!

I didn't open this one yet because I have a mascara I'm currently using.

Mascara needs to be thrown out after 3 months so I didn't want to expose it to air just yet.

But I'm excited to try this.  I'm interested in the unique shaped wand.

Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain - color *Sugar*

I love lip products and I absolutely love this color.

It reminds me of the Manna Kadar lip stain I received in my birchbox #1 this month.

whish shave cream - scent *acai grapefruit*

"A shea butter-packed shaving cream"

This is new to me. I've used the shave gel and shave creams of course but this one was a different kind of texture.  Felt more like a lotion.

Since this is a sample size, I decided to use it only for my armpit shaving.

I liked it and it smelled pretty good.

Although, I don't think I'll ever purchase the full size.  $20 is too much for shaving cream.

Beauty Protector - Protect & Oil

Hair oil that protects against heat and UV rays.

I LOVE oil hair products.  I've received about 3 different products so far and used them all up.

I have super thick and damaged hair and these oil products have all done amazing things to my hair.

Smells great too!

I wish the sample was bigger.

Just like my Birchbox #1, I received a $10 GAP coupon code.

It expires mid January so I still have time to redeem it.

I purchased a couple kid clothes with my last one so maybe I'll treat myself to a piece of clothing this time.  I could use a new sweater... ^_^

I was surprised that I got the December box for this account.  I signed up for it right around Christmas time so I thought my first box would be January.

Shipping was rather quick too.
