Thanks to Birchbox I've discovered Number 4.  Although I haven't actually purchased a full size yet, I've enjoyed sampling their hair products.  And this hair oil smells amazing!

They are very popular and might I add...Cute♥

This was my sample choice this month!

When they first came out, I was bummed I didn't get it in my box.

But now I was able to select it♥

Awww♥ First, check out that duck on a floatie.  He's super cute.

Apply this 'serum' to your damp hair before dry blowing.

Should create a smoother finish.

I don't blow dry my hair but this works as a heat protectant so I applied this to my hair before straightening it today.  Smells great!

JUARA Candlenut Body Creme

A body cream to help dry rough skin.

I'd love to use this on my whole body but the sample is small...I will limit using this for my hands.

So I received this product in both of my boxes this month.

After using it this morning, I love it and very happy to have 2 of them.

CoTZ Flawless Complexion SPF50

A lightly tinted sunscreen for your face.

It's a bigger sample than my Supergoop!

The tint is very sheer but I look forward to using this.

I don't like using heavily tinted BB creams and CC creams.

AAAaaah my new favorite brand.

W3LL PEOPLE is an all-natural brand.  I reserved this 'Beauty Solutions' box after seeing this mascara being offered.  A high end brand too from seeing their prices.

Number 4 Clarifying Shampoo

First thing is first...that adorable elephant! Squee♥

I received a Number 4 shampoo in the past and I thought maybe BB made a mistake and sent me a dupe...But upon closer inspection, this is a new shampoo.  My previous Number 4 was a 'Hydrating' shampoo.  This one is a 'Clarifying' shampoo.  

They smell different too.  The last shampoo I tried, I didn't enjoy the scent too much.  It was a bit masculine.  But this one smells very nice. Yay!

This was included as a *Bonus Item*.

I'm glad they didn't count this as one of the 5 products we get.

(I think a shampoo/conditioner set should count as 1 item anyway)

Beauty Protector - Protector & Oil

I received this item on my other account and I love this!

In fact, I've been saving my last sample because I didn't want to run out.

Smells so good and does amazing things to my hair.

This was also one of the sample choices this month.

I didn't choose anything and wanted a complete surprise but I received it anyway.

WEI Manuka Bee Venom Anti-Wrinkle Mask

Wow..this is intimidating...

It even came with a Caution to consult your Doctor if you have bee allergies.

So I'm guessing there's actual bee venom in here.

I may wait to try this one.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint - shade *Pearl*

Wow, this might be the closest to my shade I've ever seen in a tinted moisturizer!

I love my Laura Mercier but it's a bit dark for me...

The Supergoop! CC cream makes me look kind of pink...weird.  

And the Dr. Jart rubs in kind of gray. 

But THIS one is really close.  Crossing my fingers!

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss - shade *Cheeky Kiss*

This works as both a Lip & Cheek stain.

It looked pretty red at first glance but it swatched more of a pink/coral shade.

It blends very well (for the cheeks) but it wasn't very long lasting on the lips.

I had to reapply throughout the day.

Nice color though!

So in conclusion, this was a very good box!

A total of 6 products which means I can earn 60 pts from reviews this month.

I'm really curious about that bee venom mask.  It has me intrigued.

I'm really liking the box design this month. 

It's super cute with the confetti design.

Birchbox also released a video asking all subscribers to keep ALL of our boxes this year for a surprise.  I wonder what it is ^_^

A first look. 

So here are my contents. 

I'm not blown away at first glance but I'm pleasantly surprised by the generous sample size of the hairspray.  And I'm curious about that eyeliner.

Number 4 Non-Aerosol Hairspray

So I was worried about this one.  

I received the Number 4 shampoo/conditioner in my previous box and I did not enjoy the smell.  

It was too strong and smelled like a men's cologne. 

I assumed this hairspray would smell the same BUT nope, thankfully I was wrong.

This hairspray smells so good!  I'm really loving it.

And after receiving several aerosol hairsprays, I'm glad this one wasn't.

Much easier to apply.

Essential Elements Wake Up Rosemary Body Lotion

I was super happy to see this in my box.  

I was going to pick this one for my sample choice but it was out of stock.

Somehow, I received it in my box anyway. Cool ^_^

However, I don't like it... Again, it's the smell.

It has a sharp minty smell and it reminds me of an ointment.

Smells like a hospital. 

It comes in a cute jar though.  I'll use this at night before bed so it won't go to waste.

Dr. Jart + Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45+

I love BB creams--Laura Mercier is the current one I'm using and I'm loving it.

I tested Dr. Jart this morning.  I like the consistency--it's very fluid and not as thick.

It had a slightly lighter tint compared to my Laura Mercier but I'll use this.

I might use this as a primer.

Juliette Has a Gun - Not a Perfume

This is a perfume sample.  The scent name is 'Not a Perfume'.

Hmmm..I don't really like it.

It's a smell that I think older women would wear.

Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner - color *New Delhi Chai*

I would say this is a half-size sample.

I like this eyeliner--it's super creamy and soft but doesn't smudge.

Highly pigmented and has a slight shimmer to it.

I don't own this kind of color so I'm excited to wear this.

This wasn't the most amazing box but it wasn't the worst either.

There were 2 items that wasn't a match for me, scent-wise.

But I really love the hairspray and the eyeliner.

I might even purchase the full size hairspray in the future.

The value was lower too compared to other boxes but still a very good deal for a $10 box.

Now we wait for my box #1 !

The box is super cute too...Blue with gold specks.  Fitting for the holiday month.

RUSK Texture Hair Spray

I don't typically use hair spray but this one kinda works as a dry shampoo!

It smells really good--a bit strong if you use too much, so a little goes a long way.

The smell lasts too...I'll definitely be using this.

It's interesting that I got a generous size for the shampoo but a foil packet for the conditioner.

Too bad because I tend to go through my conditioners faster.

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre

This is an interesting product...It's a French moisturizer that also works as a make-up remover?

Every month we get a Sample choice.  We get to choose ONE of our samples.

I picked this lip stain lip gloss.

It's so cute! And I love the color--it's perfect for my skin tone.

Moisturizing and NOT sticky.  I'm so glad I picked this♥

Lord & Berry Paillettes Glitter Eye Pencil *color-'black'

I use eyeliner a lot.  I was just running low so I'm glad I got this.

It's black with specks of glitter in it!

I wish it was more creamy though...It was a little rough applying it to my eye lids.

Overall, this was a good box.  I liked last month's box better but this isn't too bad.

I was a little bummed that half of my box was hair care products.

And shampoo/conditioner samples usually last only one try for me (I have long hair).

But they are all products I will use so I'm happy!
